Colombia

We have recently begun to work with local partners in Colombia using sclr to respond to ongoing crises caused both by conflict, and the regional refugee crisis. Work with local partners first began in 2021 with a discussion on the key components of sclr and how to introduce it to Colombia.
L2GP and ACT alliance members Act Church of Sweden, Christian Aid, and Dikaonie Katastrophenhilfe, set up a joint working group to support sclr training in the country, which began in February 2022 with local NGOs from across Colombia, INGOs, and members of community groups. Since this training, Christian Aid and Dikaonie Katastrophenhilfe have supported local organisations to implement sclr, providing cash grants to organisations and community groups.
