The very first weeks of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in 2022, saw ordinary people, Ukrainian NGOs, church groups, and volunteers step up to respond to the massive humanitarian crisis that resulted. Shortly afterwards, Local to Global began to work with local NGOs as they supported these widespread mutual aid efforts. Since then, our local partners have begun to implement sclr in Ukraine, allowing communities to manage and scale up their responses to the multiple, complex crises brought on by the war.
